Stephen Colbert Says Anthony Scaramucci Will Guest On The Late Show

  • Scaramucci to appear on 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert' next Monday

He'll follow that up with an appearance Monday on Stephen Colbert's "The Late Show". Colbert doesn't seem like The Mooch's most sympathetic audience, but The Mooch also seems like he doesn't turn down a PR opportunity - for better or worse.

"You'll get us all killed!"

Moochy was reportedly fired because Donald Trump's administration didn't want to be associated with someone who spoke about fellow staff with the vulgar tones, The Mooch having infamously mocked Reince Priebus and Steve Bannon.

The news comes from Colbert's own Twitter, where he simply dropped the news that the man he's been poking fun at for weeks would appear on his show.

China urges North Korea to halt missile tests
However, the top United States diplomat said it was not a matter of stopping the launches by "a specific number of days or weeks". Wang said he urged North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho to stop carrying out intercontinental ballistic missile tests .

Colbert's "censors" comment was a reference to an explosive New Yorker report that was published before Scaramucci left his role at the White House. Scaramucci was removed the same day Kelly was sworn in. Colbert joked after Scaramucci was shown the way out. He also lampooned The Mooch for his New Yorker interview but said he was a "broken man" when Scaramucci was sacked.

Remember also that Colbert is one of President Trump's vicious critics on television.

For what it's worth, HuffPost already interviewed Scaramucci after his White House exit.

"I can't believe it", Colbert said on Wednesday.

"The Mooch lasted as communications director for only ten days! Ten! That's not even a whole pay period".
