ESPN suspends Jemele Hill for her tweets about the NFL

At no point in Hill's posts does she call for an advertiser boycott. That came two weeks after the NFL declared it stood behind its players and projected a message of unity in the wake of President Donald Trump calling any player who protested during the national anthem a "son of a bitch".
After Hill's tweets about the president, ESPN released a statement that read: "The comments on Twitter from Jemele Hill regarding the President do not represent the position of ESPN".
ESPN has suspended Jemele Hill over her social media usage.
ESPN may have suspended her under the belief that she was supporting an National Football League advertiser boycott, which raises questions about the network's loyalties when it comes to business partners and internal employees.
