The actor, 74, reportedly pulled over after the driver, who was in front of him, lost control of her vehicle in Santa Paula.

While Ford will no longer be appearing in the Star Wars franchise, the 75-year-old actor will be reprising his role in Indiana Jones 5 in 2020.

The Star Wars and Indiana Jones leading man was driving behind a woman who drove her auto off the California State Route 126. While many would have stopped to call for help and let the paramedics handle things from there, Harrison didn't hesitate to pull over and jump into the fray himself.

Star Wars and Indiana Jones star Harrison Ford came to the rescue of a woman after she accidentally crashed her auto in California. Together, they were able to help get the woman out of the vehicle as they waited for paramedics to arrive.

Senior Officer Matt Alonzo of the Santa Paula Police Department was working the incident, which took place around noon.

This isn't the first time Harrison has shown off his heroic side.
