Reporting that the Detroit Lion's next coach may be New England Patriots defensive coordinator Matt Patricia.

New England Patriots defensive coordinator Matt Patricia is reportedly heading to Detroit to coach the Lions.

Texas Hit By Worst Flu Season in Decades
This includes avoiding people who are sick, staying home when sick, cover your cough and frequently wash your hands. Flu seasons during which H3 viruses are prevalent are usually worse and come with more hospitalizations and deaths.

Flu-related deaths continue to climb in California. Here's the latest toll

'The Jewish mind found the solution to Hamas terror tunnels'
Military officials have noted that more tunnels will likely be destroyed in coming months as the barrier nears completion. He said Israeli jets struck part of the tunnel and a new set of sophisticated "tools" destroyed the rest.

The Lions will have to wait until after New England's playoff run before working on contract details with Patricia.

It won't become official until after the Patriots' season ends, which will either be next weekend after the AFC Championship Game or two weeks after that, following Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis. He has also been linked to the New York Giants' head coaching vacancy this offseason. He also spoke with the Giants and Cardinals regarding their vacant head coaching positions, as well as the Browns, Chargers and Rams in years past. Defensively, though, there have been a lot of questions in the Motor City for quite some time and Patricia would theoretically address those needs with a high-level analytical mind. It was believed both Patricia and Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels would be hot names. "That is his master and his degree".

With Bob Quinn entering his third year as general manager, Caldwell's firing is an opportunity to place his own head coach at the helm of the Lions. Caldwell was 36-28 in four seasons and went 0-2 in two postseasons with the Lions.
