  • Man Eats 30000th Big Mac, Setting New World Record

Loyal McDonald's patron Don Gorske of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, continued his 46-year streak of eating multiple Big Mac burgers almost every day, with Friday's Big Mac getting him up to No. 30,000.

A crowd gathered to see Don Gorske eat his 30,000th Big Mac on Friday.

Also, given that each Big Mac has two 1.6-ounce beef patties, it means Gorske has eaten more than 6,000 pounds of beef, which might work out to about 10 cows. Gorske says that when he ate that first Big Mac, there was only one McDonald's in town, and he had just gotten his drivers' license.

But it's not just eating Big Macs that Don loves - he's passionate about everything surrounding them too. The first time, he drove to McDonald's during a snowstorm and discovered it was closed.

Most people have fast food as an indulgence, perhaps, but for the American man who ate his 30,000th Big Mac last week, "I'm lovin' it" does not even come close to describing his burger obsession.

In October 2017, Gorske set his first world record for the most Big Macs consumed.

UK PM May avoids London wipeout in local elections
The Conservatives are defending slim majorities on councils such as Amber Valley, but could take control of Peterborough. He said: All the hype in the media about Labour gains in certain boroughs was never going to be the case.

Gorske also collects mementos of his Big Mac orders.

Gorske showed off his decades of receipts, sandwich wrappers and containers.

Tall and lanky, with a graying ponytail and friendly demeanor, Gorske has obsessive compulsive disorder and a meticulous memory, which lends to his Big Mac habit and his penchant for details.

He even has the day when McDonald's switched to shredded lettuce marked down: February 10, 1999. He says he is often asked about the effects of all those Big Macs on his health.

In 2003 Ellen DeGeneres requested Gorske's cholesterol be checked.

The Big Mac fan's television appearances include the "Rachel Ray Show", "Jimmie Kimmel", "Lopez Tonight", "I've got a Secret", "Oprah" and "Inside Edition". Yep, 30,000th Big Mac!
